HERE WE GO - a new look for town.
Welcome to 2018! Happy New Year! The holidays were as usual, a rush, lots of busy times in the shop, late hours in the studio and plans with family and friends. I am actually enjoying these quiet evenings now that things have settled. The one thing I do miss though are Christmas lights so tonight my sweet hubby- bubby, wound amber colored lights around my raven screen in the dining room. I adore the color and every time I see the special light, the glow of this warm color, memories of the holidays rush in to make me smile and pause in the moment. If you have been to downtown Port Townsend since New Year's day, you just might, maybe, have noticed all the construction equipment about. Big diggers, lots of men and women at work, noise, trucks, signs and dust. Port Townsend is undertaking a massive project for 4 blocks; redoing streets, sidewalks, under grounding power and fixing ancient water lines. It may be noisy and a bit congested at times, but we remain open for busines...
